Jenison Alumni Won The Laker College Open
Jenison Alumni David Johnson won the GVSU Laker College Open on Sunday Novemeber 22. David pinned
four consecutive opponents to win the tournament. David's oppnents where from Purdue, Olivet, Grand
Valley State and in the finals he had a wrestler from Bowling Green State.

Nate Falbe 2-2 @ The MSU College Open
On Sunday Nov 11th Nate Falbe entered the MSU College Open and competed against some tough college
competition. In Nate's first round match he lost to the eventual champion but Nate came back to win his next
two matches against opponents from Northern Michigan University and Mott Community College. Nate lost
his last match to a Cleveland State Opponent by a score of 3-2.

2009 Kids Club Information Posted
The 2009 Kids Club information has been posted. This year we have expanded the coaching staff, added an
off campus training facility, added a new Kids Club website and we are putting togethor youth dual teams.
You can look for flyers and registration forms in the Friday Folders next month.

Dustin Anderson Added To The Coaching Staff
Rockford Alumni Dustin Anderson has been added to the high school coaching staff. Dustin graduated in
2006 after having a very successfull high school career. Dustin was a 4X All-State wrestler and a state
finalist. Dustin also has experience coaching at Michigan Xtreme. Dustin is expected to help fill several roles
in the wrestling room, including helping the middle weights with advanced training.

Josh Meinzer Added To The Coaching Staff
Jenison all-state alumni Josh Meinzer has recently joined the coaching staff. Josh has been helping both the
youth and high school team in the off-season. Josh is expected to help at several levels during the up and
coming season.

The Edge Takedown Club Finished With Over 13,000 Takedowns
Since April the Edge Off-Season Takedown Club has been meeting on Sunday nights to drill takedowns and
wrestle live takedown matches. This was the Takedown Clubs First year and we had thirty members drill
over 13,000 takedowns this off-season. Listed below are the members who made it over one-thousand
takedowns.
